We participate in numerous events throughout the school year.
SIFE General Meetings
- Date: Every Tuesday
- Time: 4:00 pm
- Location: Corley, Room 104, Arkansas Tech University
- Details: Each Tuesday, all the SIFE members meet to talk about upcoming events and projects that are to take place. Any student is welcome to join us at these meetings.
Area Agency on Aging
- Date: Every Thursday, beginning October 22, 2009, and ending November 19, 2009.
- Time: 5:00 pm
- Location: Corley, Room 235, Arkansas Tech University
- Details: SIFE members will teach a class about basic computer usage and skills to area senior citizens.
Job or No Job
- Date:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, November 18-20, 2009
- Details: This project allows Arkansas Tech students to participate in "mock" interviews with real companies, so that they can gain real experience to prepare themselves for later interviews. Several large companies, including Acxiom and Wal-Mart, will be participating.
Upcycle
- Date: Thursday, November 5, 2009
- Time: 6:00 pm
- Location: Doc Bryan, Room 242, Arkansas Tech University
- Details: The purpose of this SIFE event is to promote using items that would normally end up being discarded and turning them into something useful and purposeful.
