Purpose:
The purpose of the organization is to recognize superior recreation/parks/leisure major students; to encourage the development of professional standards for the leisure field; to stimulate the personal development of individual members' professional growth; to cultivate, foster and promote a sentiment of amity among the students of leisure profession; and to recognize those persons who have made outstanding contributions to the field of recreation/parks/leisure.

Requirements :
Membership is open to undergraduate students who have completed 45 hours of which 9 hours are within the major and rank in the upper 15% of the recreation/park/leisure majors or have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.000 in all course work with a 3.200 in courses within major.
