The purpose of the club is to unite in one organization all the undergraduate students who are interested in the field of recreation and park administration; to foster and maintain high standards of professional qualifications and ethics; to encourage and promote adequate programs of professional training for recreation and park administration students; to maintain a suitable program of public relations; t protect the interests of recreation and park administration students as a group in situations where their professional interests are concerned; to encourage study and research on matters where professional interests are concerned; to function in any other matter which will further the interest of the recreation and park movement and its personnel; and to offer an opportunity for good fellowship and cooperative work.
