Purpose: |
The purpose of the society is to promote an atmosphere conductive to professional development of fisheries and wildlife biology students; to encourage new fish and wildlife biology students to begin career development as underclassmen; to organize and hold social functions for members of the Society; to promote good public relations and communication among the Society, professional fish and wildlife organizations, state and federal natural resource agencies, and public organizations involved in natural resource management; to provide opportunities for chapter members to prepare themselves for employment in the field of fisheries and wildlife management; and to promote wise use of fish and wildlife resources in Arkansas. |

Membership is open to all students who are interested in fisheries and wildlife biology and the purposes and goals of the Society. |
