Site Design Lab
A site design lab with 20 drafting tables and a computer lab with 16 networked PCs is located on the second floor of Williamson. The computer lab has a synchronizer for the instructor's use in teaching computer software applications.
A reading/resource room with periodicals and job information is located on the first floor of Williamson. A networked computer lab with 20 PCs is also located on the first floor of Williamson.
Mt. Magazine State Park Lab
The Department is putting together a Cooperative Agreement with Mt. Magazine State Park near Paris, Arkansas, to use their park facilities as a laboratory for RP courses including programming, park operations, commercial recreation, site planning and design, administration, interpretation, personnel management, research methods, work experience, and internship.
The state park is building a dormitory in the basement of Mt. Magazine Lodge for temporary housing for up to 20 students. The agreement includes shuttle buses for students and faculty and park reservation software for training purposes.
