Washington to perform guest recital Tuesday

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (February 4, 2008)--Carina Washington, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music, will perform a program of Swedish music for clarinet and piano with collaborative pianist Brian Conatser at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Witherspoon Auditorium.

            Washington has performed with the Danish Radio Sinfonietta, the Danish Philharmonic, the Copenhagen Cantata Orchestra, Norwegian State Army Band and the Missouri Chamber Orchestra. She is currently a regular performer for the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, the Arkansas Symphony and the Delta Symphony of Jonesboro.

            The performance on Tuesday is free and open to the public.
