RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (April 17, 2008)--Arkansas Tech University was honored for its 2007-2008 advertising campaign during the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District IV Conference in Little Rock on April 5-8.
Tech received a Silver Award of Excellence in the audiovisual communications category for its television spots entitled “Meet Your Future.” The series of three advertisements aired in the summer of 2007 and will begin showing on television outlets around the state of Arkansas again this spring.
Tech also earned a Bronze Achievement Award in the specialty and print advertising projects category in recognition of four print advertisements entitled “I Met Myself at Tech.”
Both the print and television advertisements are part of a multimedia campaign designed to highlight the university’s educational opportunities and exceptional students to prospective students and their parents. The campaign can be viewed online by visiting www.future.atu.edu.
“We are thrilled that our creative work has been recognized by our peers,” said Susie Nicholson, assistant to the president for university relations. “We worked hand-in-hand with our advertising agency, Sells/Clark, to audition a wide range of students and select representatives from all aspects of college life. Together, these students exemplify the well-rounded college experience that Tech offers.”
