RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (November 12, 2007)--For the 28th consecutive year, the Arkansas Tech University Department of Music will host a fall showcase for the Tech Percussion Ensemble and the University Brass Choir.
Both groups will be featured during the “Feast of Percussion and Brass” on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2:30 p.m. in Witherspoon Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Soloists during the concert will include Dr. Luc Jackman of the Tech music faculty, senior Brian Stackhouse of Atkins and senior Amy Murphy of Mountain Home.
The Tech Percussion Ensemble is directed by Philip Parker. The University Brass Choir is conducted by Dr. Gary Barrow.
