RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (March 4, 2008)---Persons interested in becoming part of the Pope County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will have an opportunity to attend training March 14-16 at Arkansas Tech University.
The training will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15. It will conclude with a third and final session from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 16.
The Pope County CERT is a volunteer organization that allows trained residents to become active in recovery efforts when disasters strike our area. It is open to all local citizens.
