RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (February 28, 2008)---Eight Arkansas Tech University band students were selected to perform with the 2008 Arkansas Intercollegiate Band during the Arkansas All-State Band Convention in Hot Springs on Feb. 14-15.
The Arkansas Intercollegiate Band met with conductor Dr. Joseph Missal of Oklahoma State University and rehearsed on Feb. 14 in advance of their performance the next day.
Representing Arkansas Tech in the 2008 Arkansas Intercollegiate Band were: Patrick Combs of Hot Springs, Cathryn Endel of Van Buren, Matt Gray of Little Rock, Sarah Miller of Harrison, Amy Murphy of Mountain Home, Janae Reed of Cabot, Sean Sweeden of Morrilton and Mel Verrette of Siloam Springs.
