Tech students attend choir convention

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (February 19, 2008)---Eight Arkansas Tech University students will perform with the Collegiate Honor Choir at the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Southwestern Division Convention Feb. 20-23 in Kansas City, Mo.

            Sarah Bailey of Harrison, Adrian Clark of Springdale, Jordan Harris of Springdale, Kathryn Harst of Hot Springs, Cassie Holt of Bentonville, Tim Morris of Russellville, Sean Sweeden of Morrilton and Lauren Wood of Russellville will represent Tech in the Collegiate Honor Choir. The 300-voice group represents 45 universities and colleges.

In addition to the eight Arkansas Tech students selected to perform at the ACDA Southwestern Division Convention, Tech senior Curtis Minor of Harrison is one of nine student conductors chosen from a seven-state area to conduct new music reading sessions at the convention.
