Hal Cooper
  

Hal Cooper holds the M.M.E. from Henderson State University and the B.M.E. from Henderson State University, where he was recently named a distinguished alumni. An Associate Professor of Music, he is Director of Bands and the sponsor for the Kappa Kappa Psi chapter. Professor Cooper, a member of the prestigious American Bandmaster's Association, has a distinguished record of professional accomplishments and enjoys a commendatory reputation throughout the state and nation. Cooper is the past President of the College Band Director's National Association, Southwest Division, and is a well known adjudicator in the region. He was honored by alumni and friends in May of 2009 for his 30 years of service with the creation of the Hal Cooper endowed scholarship.
