This page is intended to assist students and professionals pursuing a career in the actuarial profession in preparing for the actuarial exams. The long term objective is to provide textbooks for most of the exams offered by both the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society. All these books are free of charge and are available to the public. I only ask the user to point out to me any inconsistencies that can be found in the textbooks.
The user should be aware that these textbooks are written with the objective of helping the reader get a better understanding of the topics required for a specific exam. A solid understanding of the topics should be sufficient for ones strong performance on the exams. Users seeking exam-type skills and suggestions on how to prepare for the exams might want to check many of the study guides already available in the market.
