Information Packet & Confirmation of Attendance
As a newly admitted student planning for your upcoming study time and arrival in the U.S., you may have many questions. The IMSSO has prepared for you a New International Student Information Packet. This packet is designed to help you...from visa basics to the weather in Arkansas. Please take time to read this information carefully. A copy of this packet was also included with your I-20 and letter of acceptance. Additionally, please complete the Confirmation of Attendance Form (Response Form 1) and return it to us as soon as possible. You can type into this form on screen and print out to fax or mail, or save it to attach the file to an email message.

Arriving Information
If you would like assistance with travel arrangements from the Little Rock National Airport to Arkansas Tech University, please send the Transportation & Accommodation Request Form (Response Form 2) 72 hours (three business days) in advance of your arrival, preferably by fax or by e-mail.

Airport Transportation
Free IMSSO Shuttle Pickup:
Due to the large number of students arriving on January 9th, we will be providing a free shuttle pickup on Monday January 9th. If you have already submited a Transportation Accommodation Form, you do not need to submit again. Please meet the university representative at the baggage claim area in the Little Rock airport at the following time:

  •        Monday, January 9 at 5:00 p.m

Affordable Transportation from Airport to Russellville:

For those of you who are not able to use our free shuttle on August 19th, you can consider using the following private transportation service provider:

      A & A Transport: Driver�s name is Bob Merritt, phone # 479-886-4656

  •        $80 for driving only one person from airport to Russellville

  •        $40 per person for driving two or more people from airport to Russellville

On-Campus Housing for Fall2011 - NO MORE AVAILABILITY

  • Arkansas Tech University requires single students under 21, and with under 60 hours of college work completed, to live on campus in University-owned housing units.
  • For the purpose of health, safety, privacy and for the normal operation of the residence halls, residents must be 18 years of age or older by September 1 of the year under contract.
  • All new students beginning Tech in the Spring 2012 semester should apply for on-campus housing as soon as possible. Housing on-campus fills very quickly
