






Tech Celebrates International Education Week! November 12-16, 2012
12:00 p.m Doc's Place, Doc Bryan
If you enjoy fashion, you will not want to miss the International Fashion Show 2012 which will feature traditional clothing from around the world.
How to participate?
- We are looking for volunteers to dress up in their traditional national clothes
and simply walk onto a stage and model your clothing. If you would like to do this,

The IMSSO will be collaborating with a student business association called ENACTUS (previously SIFE) to organize a fair that exhibits the common business practices of six different countries represented at Tech. The fair will show case "poster presentations" from six different countries. Participants will be allowed to rotate in groups between posters in 10 minute intervals.
How to participate?
- The IMSSO Is looking for presenters who are interested in educating others about business practices in their countries. Participants will be awarded a professional certificate to recognize their participation in the fair. If you are interested contact Danny Eshcol: deshcol@atu.edu

The IMSSO will host a volleyball tournament for co-ed teams (boys & girls). Summary
of rules:
- Minimum 2, Maximum 6 players per team
- Minimum of person of each gender on court all the time
- 15 point games with rally scoring

Join us as an international student panel discusses their experiences of and the influence of sports in their particular country. Topics will include: What are the most popular sports in your country? Are sports organized and part of the educational curriculum? Can professional athletes make a living? How involved are parents in sports?

This adventure comedy is an extraordinary story of three Rwandan kids who walk 3000 miles to the Soccer World Cup in South Africa. And as they walk they gather a tribe - a ragamuffin team - of broken and brilliant characters who help them negotiate a way through a series of glorious, dangerous, hilarious and often bizarre situations. You are invited to join Arkansas Tech University's international students for an evening of fascinating culture and talent. Events will include finger foods from various countries, a talent contest (judges & prizes included), music, and much more!
How to participate?
INTERNATIONAL TALENT EXPO:
- Come perform a dance, song, play a musical instrument, or any combination (4 minute limit) at a chance to win CASH!: 1st PLACE: $300, 2nd PLACE: $200, 3rd PLACE: $100
- Performances will be judged on a combination of the following criteria: (1) Audience Response, (2) Originality, (3) Overall Quality

How to participate?
- Submit the best of your photos at a chance to win a CASH prize! The theme for the
photo contest is: "Sports Around The World". The theme aims to capture the experiences,
memories, and feelings shared by people as it is related to "sports around the world".
The contest is open to ALL current Tech students.
