Immunizations Required By Law

M.M.R (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)

    >  2 Doses Measles, 1 Dose Rubella and 1 dose Mumps Required for all FRESHMEN &               FOREIGN BORN STUDENTS.
    >  1 dose of Measles, 1 dose of Rubella and 1 dose Mumps is Required for all TRANSFER            and GRADUATE students.

Re-immunization is necessary when Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps or MMR was administered before 12 months of age or before 1968.

Recommended Immunizations (not required)
Meningococcal Vaccine Arkansas Act 1233 of 1999 requires us to inform you of this rare but potentially fatal bacterial infection commonly know as meningitis. Students living in residence halls have a slightly higher risk of contracting this disease. We recommend that all students living in residence halls receive the meningitis vaccine. The meningococcal vaccine is available at the Health and Wellness Center.
