Arkansas Tech University invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track position as Instructor of Mathematics to teach a full-time load of twelve credit-hours per semester. Qualified applicants must have a masters degree in mathematics or related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate level mathematics and post-secondary teaching experience in math. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching remedial math courses and college algebra, experience with distance education delivery (online), development of on-line classes and evidence of excellent communication skills. Faculty members are responsible for the development and teaching of assigned courses and additional duties as assigned. The application deadline is December 14, 2012 and the position begins in August, 12, 2013.
