Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus invites applications for the position of Cardiovascular Technology Clinical Coordinator.  The Ozark Campus is located on I-40 between Fort Smith and Russellville in the city of Ozark, Arkansas.  This position reports to the Chief Academic Officer on the Ozark Campus.  The CVT Clinical Coordinator will provide instruction and develop clinical sites in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Cardiovascular Technology with emphasis in Adult Echocardiography.  The CVT Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for: clinical planning, development and evaluation, classroom and lab instruction, development of curriculum, maintenance of classroom records, advisement of students, professional development, service on campus committees, and communication with representatives in the field.
 
Minimum Qualifications:  Associates level degree with a current RCS and/or RDCS credential and/or other designations in cardiac sonography necessary to work in the field as required by local, state and federal law, minimum of 3 years practical scanning experience working in cardio sonography. 

Preferred Qualifications:  Bachelor’s level degree with three years in the field practice and experience in teaching preferred.
