Arkansas Tech University is a multi-purpose, state-supported institution of higher
education offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. The Department
of Nursing offers NLNAC accredited BSN, online RN to BSN, and a new MSN in Nursing
Administration and Emergency Management programs. The department seeks a full-time
faculty member for non-tenure-track classroom and clinical undergraduate teaching
position to begin August 12, 2013.
Required qualifications include: a masters degree in nursing, a minimum of two years
clinical experience, an
Arkansas nursing license (or must be eligible to obtain one), and computer literacy.
Experience in the following is also required: acute medical-surgical and/or critical
care nursing.
Preferred qualifications include classroom, online, and simulation teaching experience
and an earned or progress towards a doctorate in Nursing. Additional duties include
student advising and committee work.
