Arkansas Tech University is seeking applicants for a Coordinator of Tech Loyalty Fund (TLF) Phonathon and Activities.  Arkansas Tech University is a multi-purpose, state-assisted institution with an enrollment of approximately 11,000 students.

The Coordinator of TLF Phonathon and Activities will be responsible for overseeing the planning and operations of the annual Phonathon program by developing the best methods for providing a meaningful donor-to-student interaction.  This includes, but is not limited to, working with the Personnel Office to interview, hire student workers and complete the proper paperwork, preparing scripts for callers, schedule and manage student supervisors and callers, system training, securing facilities, setting weekly and annual goals and run weekly reports.  The Coordinator will also assist the Director of Alumni Relations in generating various direct mail appeals and other related Tech Loyalty Fund projects.  This position will also assist in other various aspects of alumni services to ensure effectiveness of the total program.  The position requires that a close, positive working relationship will be established and maintained with alumni, staff, and faculty.  The ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that positively portrays the University, its programs, personnel, and philosophies is critically important.  This position requires creativity, ability to multi-task, scheduling flexibility with regard to events, ability to travel, ability to accomplish projects with little supervision, high-energy, high customer-service ethic, and high expectations for quality.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, strong written and verbal communication skills, proven leadership skills, proficiency in usage of the latest versions of Microsoft Office, creativity, ability to multi-task, work schedule flexibility (nights and weekends) with regard to events, ability to travel, ability to accomplish projects with little supervision, and high customer service ethic.  Knowledge of Banner computer program is a plus.

The Coordinator of TLF, Phonathon and Activities will report directly to the Director of Alumni Relations.  The position is a full-time, 12-month position with a salary in the mid to upper $30,000.00 range, depending on experience.
