Arkansas Tech University is seeking an Institutional Assistant to provide administrative support for the Vice President for Student Services and University Relations. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, 12-month position. Primary job functions, duties and requirements are listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Institutional Assistant will have oversight for the day-to-day operation of the office of the Vice President. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintenance of records, scheduling official events, tracking division budgets, assisting dean and associate deans with departmental assessment needs, assuring departmental websites are up-to-date and meet university standards, and performing other administrative functions associated with the office. The position requires the ability to effectively interact with a variety of students, parents, faculty and staff members from a broad range of backgrounds and disciplines.
