Public History

The public history degree requires fifty nine semester hours in courses in addition to the required general education courses. In the general education requirements, history majors are required to take the two-course sequences in world civilization and U.S. history.  For the major, students must take additional courses in U.S. history and World /European history as well as geography, political science, and a range of courses focusing on museum/archive management and historical preservation.
