Mr. Mark Evans teaches history part time at Arkansas Tech University, in addition to a full-time teaching position with the Dover Schools. A veteran (USN) of the Vietnam War, Mr. Evans has served on the Arkansas state curriculum and textbook committees, and as a past-president of the Dover Education Association. He also served four terms on the Pope County Quorum Court between 1993 and 2001. Mr. Evans holds commercial pilots license with multi and single engine ratings, as well as an instructor rating; he also teaches flying.
