Phonathon
The 10th annual Tech Loyalty Fund Phonathon raised over $38,000 during 5 weeks of calling sessions held during February and March of 2010. Dedicated students called our alumni and friends each night.
Thanks to the generosity and commitment of Tech's alumni and friends, 95% of all pledges made during the Phonathon were fulfilled.
Phonathon gifts made through the Tech Loyalty Fund provide scholarships and departmental support for each of Tech's 7 schools. None of this would be possible, however, without the committed student callers working on behalf of Arkansas Tech University. Their enthusiasm and "Tech Spirit" cannot be matched by the year-around, automated, paid-caller systems that are becoming the norm among collegiate telephone campaigns.
We are looking for students to call our alumni and friends to raise support for Arkansas Tech!! You will work at least 2 nights a week for 5 weeks and be paid $7.25 an hour. Students with at least one year of calling experience will also be eligible to apply for a Student Manager position.
2011 Phonathon
dates:
February 20 - March 16, calling from 6 - 9pm
(Sunday - Wednesday nights)
