Baswell Techionery

Baswell Techionery, a new 14,220-square foot student union, opened on Monday, August 15. The $3.3 million facility includes dining opportunities, meeting spaces for student organizations and lounge areas for students to enjoy their free time.

“There is no question that Baswell Techionery will become a popular gathering place on our campus for generations to come,” said Susie Nicholson, vice president for student services and university relations. “The large windows provide a beautiful view of campus, and the welcoming environment inside makes it the kind of place you want to spend time. I believe that our students will love it.”

Hindsman Tower

The Hindsman Tower, in honor of Coach Sam HIndsman, is a gathering place for students and will be linked to the beautiful Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center and surrounding buildings by a series of pathways.

Located at the center of campus, the tower will become a meeting place for faculty and students alike and the bell will celebrate momentous university occasions.

Rothwell Hall
The new four-story academic facility at Arkansas Tech University has been named Rothwell Hall in honor of Tech alumni Ben and Terry Rothwell. 

The 60,000-square foot facility houses the Arkansas Tech College of Business, a regional office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center, the Arkansas Tech Academic Advising Center and two floors of classroom space.
