President's Box Naming Ceremony
Deward and Anne Dopson were recognized for their role in the Return to Glory capital campaign when the President’s Box at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field was dedicated in their family’s honor during Tech Homecoming festivities on Oct. 20, 2007.
The President’s Box was dedicated in memory of the Dopsons’ grandson, Tyler Deward Dopson.
The Dopsons are alumni of Arkansas Tech. Mr. Dopson was an All-AIC basketball player and a basketball coach at Tech. He was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 1982.
