RICHARD R. COHOON Professor of Geology Dean, School of Physical and Life Sciences B.A., Oklahoma City University, 1954 M.S., University of Oklahoma, 1959 Ed.D., Oklahoma State University, 1974 Dr. Cohoon has taught in the Geology program at ATU since 1960. Besides his administrative duties, he teaches such courses as Physical Geology, Subsurface Geology, Optical Mineralogy, Petrology, and Mineralogy. CATHY BAKER Associate Professor of Geology
B.S., Arkansas Tech University, 1976 M.S., University of Arkansas, 1978 Ph.D., University of Iowa, 1986 Dr. Baker has taught at Tech since 1998. Her specialty is invertebrate paleontology. JASON PATTON Assistant Professor of Geology Interim Director, Arkansas Center for Energy, Natural Resources, and Environmental Studies B.S., Arkansas Tech University, 1996 M.S., Murray State University, 1998 Ph.D., University of Arkansas, 2008 Dr. Patton joined the faculty in July 2008.
