Financing Your Education All students who meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress guidelines are eligible for financial aid. There are many levels of financial aid available at Tech. Once you have reviewed our Tuition and Fees, you will want to begin the financial aid process by familiarizing yourself with the procedures. After you have familiarized yourself with the process, you can begin your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA will provide you the opportunity to apply for both state and federal money for college. All freshman academic scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. All scholarship applicants must be admitted to the University before a scholarship will be authorized. Students may receive only one Tech-funded academic scholarship in any semester. Tech does not accept recalculated ACT composite scores. Undergraduate students who live in Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas are considered in-state for tuition purposes and are eligible to apply for in-state ACT scholarships.
