eTech is designed to allow students to participate in higher education at times and places conducive to their work and personal schedules. Courses are delivered in various forms. In addition to the Worldwide Web, we use compressed interactive video, traditional video, and computer-based video. This web site contains information about our various programs and eTech events. We will also use this site to notify you of any planned server outages, major changes in our operation or the rare occurrence of school closing due to weather. As a student enrolled in an online-web course with the Virtual Learning Center (eTech), we welcome you to a unique and diverse educational opportunity. Click on the Course Catalog link for information on available courses.
Blackboard Self-Enrollment Instructions for Students:
Once logged into Blackboard, under the Course Tab, click on Browse Course Catalog. Search for the course you are registered for either by name, id, instructor, or description. When you find the course you are looking for, click on the dropdown arrow next to the course name and then click enroll. If the cropdown arrow is missing, this means the instructor has turned off self-enrollment, or he or she has not made their course available. Once you click on enroll, you will be prompted for the Access Code. The access code for all courses is bb9-enroll unless otherwise specified by your instructor. Enter the code, and click the Submit button.
If you have questions, please contact the Campus Support Center at 479-968-0646 or 1-866-400-8022.
OneTech Portal: OneTech handles work such as student grades, financial aid, registering for classes, etc. It gives students, staff, and faculty quick and seamless access to information stored in the Banner system. It also provides access to our email system and other applications such as Group Studio and calendaring.
All students will receive a OneTech ID. This will also serve as your e-mail address. Most OneTech ID's are the first initial combined with the last name. For example John Doe's ID would be jdoe and his email address would be jdoe@atu.edu. More about OneTech can be found at the OneTech Resource Page.
