Field Placement
It is important that a prospective teacher have many and varied experiences in several schools, and be exposed to students in a variety of cultural and philosophical environments. The placement of candidates in the field is a thoughtful process, considerate of a complexity of standards, policies, procedures, agreements and partnerships with the public schools, rules, regulations and budgetary constraints as well as the special needs and employment futures of teacher candidates. Below you will find a sequenced list of courses for each program. Each course number is linked to more detailed information about the course and requirements of the observer. The information should help you to plan to receive and utilize observers in your classroom.
