Ryan Theroux, Ph.D.

Dr. Ryan Theroux comes to ATU and joins CSP with higher education experience in both administrative and faculty roles at both two-year and four-year institutions. Originally from New England, Dr. Theroux first entered the field of student affairs as a career coach serving students with disabilities at the Community College of Rhode Island. At the college, he also worked as an evening academic advisor, part-time student success and English instructor, and counselor/ coordinator and then assistant director of a TRIO program serving low-income, first generation, and disabled students. Dr. Theroux has additional student affairs experience working with commuter students while serving as an off-campus housing manager at the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Theroux served as an academic affairs administrator at Clarion University of Pennsylvania for a while and has recently joined the faculty as an assistant professor in the first-year experience area at Curry College outside of Boston.
