The Arkansas Center for Energy, Natural Resources, and Environmental Studies (ACENRES) is an research organization at Arkansas Tech University dedicated to supporting faculty and student research within these broad disciplines. Energy

ACENRES is an organization dedicated to the advancement of research and education in the search for clean, renewable, and affordable energy. Several projects have been funded in recent years involving solar cell catalysts and other renewable energy sources.

 

Natural Resources

Arkansas is rich in natural resources, including fertile agricultural lands, mineral and water resources, and scenic natural wildlife habitat.

 

Environmental Studies

Arkansans like to see the development of their natural resources for economic prosperity in a way that maintains the excellent environment they enjoy. Projects recently funded include several water quality and wildlife habitat studies.
