Economics & Finance, May 2010
I chose Arkansas Tech University after graduating from Van Buren High School in 2006. I decided to attend Tech because I felt at home after visiting the campus, and felt the quality of the experience would be right for me. I studied Economics and Finance during my time at Tech, which gave me the opportunity to study under great professors. While at Tech, I also served as a leader on campus within several organizations, serving as President of my social fraternity and the College of Business' SIFE (Enactus) team. I met many wonderful people and made life-long connections. I know, without a doubt, that the experiences and people I met at Tech will help guide me through the remainder of my life.
Currently, I am employed by Bank of America Merrill Lynch. I work in the firm's Global Commercial Banking group which helps to service the capital needs of our Middle Market clients. My role is primarily focused on risk management and assisting with the underwriting of new deals in our portfolio. My professors at Tech undoubtedly prepared me for a successful career in banking.
