Those interested in learning more about visiting China with the Arkansas Tech College of Business this spring are invited to attend an interest meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting is taking place on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Corley Hall Room 102 on the Arkansas Tech Campus.
Arkansas Tech graduate and tour consultant John Pate will give a presentation and answer questions about the trip. Pate currently lives in China and will serve as a guide during the trip.
This marks the eighth year that Tech students have visited China to learn about international business.
The trip is scheduled for March 18-28, and those traveling will spend time in Shanghai and Beijing. Trip coordinators say those traveling will visit several factories, meet with Chinese executives and visit cultural sites in China.
Trip officials say the trip gives students insight into international business practices and the role cultural differences play in business.
The annual trip is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Arkansas Tech. To find out more about the trip, contact Dr. Loretta Cochran at lcochran@atu.edu This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by calling 479-964-3250.
