Assistant Attorney General Kevin Wells Speaks About Consumer Protection & Identity Theft

Assistant Attorney General Kevin Wells spoke to students in Professor Tracy Cole's Legal Environment of Business classes about consumer protection and identity theft issues on September 8, 2009.  Mr. Wells, who serves in the Public Protection Division of the office of the Arkansas Attorney General, talked to the students about fraudulent schemes that target consumers and the role of the Arkansas Attorney General in protecting the public.  Students also received information on identity theft and specific steps that individuals can take to ensure that their credit reports are accurate, to safeguard their own personal information, and to regain control if they become victim of identity theft.
