Linda Clarke

Linda began her career at Arkansas Tech University in 1984 in the Office of Academic Affairs. Since then, she has held positions in the Registrar's Office and Mathematics Department. She joined the Advising Center in 1997 as an Academic Advisor, and in 1998, she was promoted to Director. In 2008, she was selected as the Outstanding Arkansas Academic Advising Administrator. Linda has one daughter, Courtney, and two Maltese puppies, Maggie and Rascal. Her favorite entertainment is attending any Arkansas Tech NCAA II athletic event.

Tim Diffey

Tim is a 2006 graduate from Arkansas Tech's journalism program. He also completed a Master of Arts in Multi-Media Journalism at Tech in 2008. During his years as a student, he worked as an undergraduate VA student worker in Norman Career Services and as a graduate assistant in the Speech, Theatre, and Journalism department. Prior to his enrollment at Tech, Tim served from 1997 to 2001 as a Naval Aircrew Flight Safety Instructor. In 1998 and 2000, he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for training program design and implementation. In 2008-2009, he taught at Indio High School in Indio, CA. For the past three years, Tim held positions of Enrollment Advisor and Lead Academic Advisor at Ashford University in San Diego, CA. Tim enjoys playing and watching sports while spending time with family and friends.

Jenny Hardin

Jenny has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel. While completing her master's degree, Jenny began her career at Tech as a Graduate Assistant for Golden Suns basketball in 2011. The following year she served as a Graduate Assistant for Student Activities and Orientation. She joined the Academic Advising Center in 2013 as an Academic Advisor. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and supporting Tech athletics.

Phillip
Phillip Harp

Phillip came to Arkansas Tech in 2010 to pursue a master's degree in history. While completing his degree he worked as a graduate assistant in the College of Professional Studies and the Department of History and Political Science. After graduating in 2011, he served as an Upward Bound Academic Coordinator at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. Prior to 2010, Phillip taught social studies at Springdale Public Schools for three years. In 2013, Phillip returned to Arkansas Tech to serve as an Academic Advisor and adjunct instructor of U.S. History. He resides in Russellville and loves football season and cookouts. He also enjoys reading to his daughter, Ali.

Cara Knight

Cara earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing Education from Tech in 2007 and taught in the Mt. Vernon-Enola School District. While teaching, she developed a passion for higher education and returned to Arkansas Tech University in 2010 to work in the Office of Admissions as a recruiter to encourage students to pursue a degree. Cara earned her Master of Science in College Student Personnel in 2012 and received the Dr. Jim Ed McGee Outstanding Graduate Student Award. She has also taught as an adjunct in the CSP department, a creative writing instructor in the Upward Bound Summer Program, and for the past year, she has served as Coordinator of Student Center Operations in Student Services. She lives with her husband, Brock, and their Labrador Retriever, Rooster Cogburn, in Danville.

Marika joined the Academic Advising Center at Arkansas Tech University in 2011 as an Academic Advisor.  She has also worked in the Registrar's Office and the Admission's Office on campus.  During the spring and summer months, she helps her parents manage Moore Outdoors, a canoe and raft rental on Big Piney Creek.  Marika resides in Dardanelle with her husband, Ken and their daughter, Everi.

Daniel

Daniel Riedmueller

Daniel joined the Arkansas Tech family as a transfer student and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science in 2008. Soon after, he began his career with Tech in the Student Accounts office and completed his Master of Science in College Student Personnel in 2011. Since finishing his CSP degree, Daniel has held a deep interest in Academic Advising and was able to join the AAC team in 2014. He enjoys playing music and spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and their two daughters, Claire and Kate.

Scott Tomlin

Scott earned both his master's and bachelor's degrees in History at Arkansas Tech. As a Graduate Assistant he worked for the Arkansas Digital History Institute, the Department of History and Political Science, and the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities. In July 2011 he joined the staff in the Department of Art and has also worked in the Registrar's Office as a Registrar's Assistant. He joined the Academic Advising Center in July 2014. Scott lives in the Hatley community and enjoys whitewater canoeing, hiking, and working in the garden.

Ann joined Arkansas Tech in 1987 as Secretary to the President until 1996, when she and her husband, Bruce, moved to Siloam Springs. Upon returning to the Russellville area in 2008, she rejoined Arkansas Tech in 2010 in the Advising Center as a Financial Advisor. The Webbs live outside Atkins on their cattle and poultry farm with their Irish Setter, Lissa. Ann serves on the Girls of Promise Committee; Single Parent Scholarship Committee and is a member of Chapter BM P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Rhonda Rodgers
Administrative Specialist

Rhonda has worked at Arkansas Tech University since 1998. She joined the Academic Advising Center in 2004. Rhonda facilitates the registration process for all incoming freshmen and undeclared students. She resides in Russellville with her husband, Britt, and youngest daughter, Amanda. Rhonda's two older daughters and their husbands are all Arkansas Tech Graduates. She is a proud grandmother of four.
