Honors Expectations

Arkansas Tech University's Honors Program is designed to elevate the college learning experience. To maintain a sense of community and enhance personal learning skills, honors courses are conscientiously designed to be small in size and to promote interaction, not only with peers, but with professors as well.

Students admitted into the Honors program are not only educated for their university years, they are educated for life.

Formal acceptance into Arkansas Tech University's Honors Program is contingent on the following requirements:
Complete Honors Application
Proof of Critical Writing Skills/Essay
ACT Composite score of 28 or better
Minimum GPA of 3.50
Personal Interview with the Honors Director
