Meet the Staff
The Academic Advising Center serves as the advising home for all Tech students who have not yet declared a major. The Advising Center staff also advises and helps construct class schedules for all first-time entering freshmen during early registration. In addition to helping students schedule classes, advisors assist students in understanding university policies and deadlines, and facilitate the process of choosing a major. The Advising Center is dedicated to providing a warm, friendly place that students become familiar with during their first semester of study and can return throughout their college career whenever questions or problems arise. Transfer and prospective students, as well as members of the community, are always welcome to visit the Advising Center for general information regarding enrollment at Tech. The Advising Center is located in the lobby of Bryan Hall near the main campus entrance at the intersection of HWY 7 and HWY 124. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advisors are available for appointments in the office or over the telephone for out-of-area students. Same-day appointments are also available. To make an appointment to see an advisor, please call: (479) 964-0843.
