River Valley Math/Science Alliance

WHO?		An organization composed of K-16 educators who are interested in improving the math and science education of the students that we all serve. Teachers from all disciplines are invited to attend. We encourage an interdisciplinary approach to the teaching of math and science.
WHY?		The purpose of the River Valley Math/Science Alliance is to help teachers improve the performance of Arkansas River Valley students through activities designed to aid teachers in becoming more aware of the latest methods and curricular changes in their respective fields. Learning of the vast educational resources and other opportunities available to the teachers of the River Valley and sharing how other teachers are utilizing those resources and opportunities is the major goal of the RVMS Alliance.

WHEN?		The Alliance holds regular meetings and also schedules various activities, including field trips for educators. Regular meetings are held in room #2 of McEver Hall on the campus of Arkansas Tech University.
