Arkansas Tech University College of Education

As the student population becomes more diverse, teachers and schools must respond with a broader range of knowledge and skills. The professional education program is designed to address these changing needs by offering educational theory as well as practical field and clinical experiences. The teacher licensure programs are approved by the Arkansas Department of Education and accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) - less than half of all teacher education programs in the United States hold this accreditation.
